Alan Radbourne
Alan Radbourne is a Project Manager for the research institute UKCEH, leading their work as part of the EU INTERREG FABulous Farmers project that is supporting a number of functional agrobiodiversity (FAB) trials across north-west Europe, including 4 regions in Great Britain. Part of the FAB farmers project is to scope and develop a market place in each country that will support farmers undertaking agro-biodiverse practices. In the UK, this marketplace is being developed with partners into the Soil Association Exchange, a new platform to create industry-wide knowledge sharing and collaboration to enable farmers to make positive environmental and social changes on their farms, putting farmers in the driving seat, providing them with the measurement tools, the know-how, and access to the relevant financial opportunities to be rewarded for their positive contributions to the environment and nature.
