Driving Sprayers
Bateman will be showcasing their latest RB26, RB35 and RB55 self-propelled sprayers at Cereals 2024 stand 924 and in the demonstration arena.
The RB26 is the most agile and compact sprayer in the range and comes into its own on smaller farms and with contractors who require the output of a self-propelled sprayer, but require a lightweight and manoeuvrable machine. Features on the RB26 include: a 3000 litre fully baffled tank, a choice of two booms – Standard Contour 18-24 metres and Variable Geometry 24 – 36 metres. Power is delivered by a 185bhp John Deere engine.
The RB35 is the ultimate all-round sprayer and popular with farmers and growers who require exceptional spraying capability on hilly terrain. Features on the RB35 include: a 4000 litre fully baffled tank, a choice of two booms – Standard Contour 18-24 metres and Variable Geometry 24 – 36 metres and Dynamic Braking. A John Deere 225 bhp, 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine supplies the power enabling the RB35 to achieve road speeds of 55kph.
The RB55 offers the capacity and capability to tackle and devour acres and acres of land with ease. Its remarkably compact and lightweight design also produces less compaction compared to competitors in its class. Features on the RB55 include: a choice of 5100 or 5600 litre fully baffled tanks, Variable Geometry boom widths of 24 to 42 metres, Dynamic Braking and E-drive transmission with cruise, field, road and eco modes.
